I have seen cheaper 120GB SSD drives. Why is this a good deal with 20 thumbs up?

Because not all SSD's are created equal?

The 128MB M3S at $74.99 is a better buy. Toggle mode NAND, 5 year warranty, also including 3.5" bracket. M5S is a costdown version of M3S. None of above advantages, and $10 more!

After three bum Hitachi mechanical 1TB SATA drives in six months time, I decided to try my luck on this M5S. I hope I am not disappointed.

I ended up choosing the newer drive. Still a good price and having had Plextor with old SCSI builds in the past, I'll welcome this. http://www.storagereview.com/plextor_pxm5s_ssd_review

I just had a chat with TD to see about a ship date for the M3S. Of course they are backordered and they are "working with Plextor to fullfill the backorders" so I asked if I could instead get a...

Look at this, tiger direct not only sold the m3 on amazon and TD, they also sold it on ebay! It's a way to bait and switch people. Is this *hit illegal?...

You do get the M5S for $10 so it can help offset the lack of a 6% rebate. 2 years less warranty and lack of a 3.5" adapter kit is what is dissuading me though. Might just wait for another SSD deal.
