um... wtf? if you notice very few people actually own this monitor, and most that do actually use it to it's potential.

Nothing in this thread's Wiki about GCs -- I just looked. I had to learn the hard way.

It wouldn't burn a hole in your pocket... unless you weren't deciding on buying anything Dell at all after the unsuccessful attempt. The GC deal wiki, not this one.

I have a Dell(not 2410) and Korean Catleap. For everyday use I prefer the glossy Korean S-IPS screen, it's amazing. I use my calibrated Dell screen for photo editing.:)

Do you do any serious print work? If yes, then I can see why the Dell would appeal to you. If not, 27" all the way.

I'm looking for 27 inch one that can rotate 90 degree. Anyone know a model number for this? and If I have HP 2711X and this as dual monitor setup, will it be okay for gaming and such?

That's so silly. Try putting even a 6-bit E-IPS such as u2311 next to a TN panel and compare the colors then try putting an 8bit S/H-IPS such as the U2410. You will see a difference in the color...

Correction 1080. $150 = TN panel $400 = IPS panel The difference is night and day unless you are a truly color blind. ;)

No question, get the 2410. The off-axis viewing angles on the 2412 will drive you nuts.

how is that possible? mind to explain? I'm doing a lot of cad work as well. I've never had any customer complaining about my drawings.
Post #52659236 added 08-22-2012 11:01 AM by fyu in Archived Deals
u2412. more then enough. cad doesn't need color accuracy at all. the lag probably turns off most hardcore gamers.

Awesome monitor, great price. Have used both the 2412 and the 2410. The 2412 is an excellent all around monitor; the 2410 is more of a professional monitor for photography/print. If primary use is...

As I replied above, the 2412 is better for everyday use. It follows the sRGB colorspace. It will give more realistic, accurate colors. The 2410 is wide-gamut and will give you skewed,...

Forgive my ignorance, but what is so different about this, that makes the same people that whine about a 24" 1920x1050 monitor when it is for $150, happy about another 24" monitor for ~400?!
