I just picked one up, it is actually $677. I had a hard time for the lady at sears to PM. I ended up driving to fry's and got it for $739 OTD. Not bad.

I am not sure you are completely accurate.....the panel is 120hz panel
You saw 60 hz because that was what the signal being fed to the TV
The TV then take that and interpolates the frames..ie...
