lol. seems like this is changing as software is developed to be multithreaded. Still true of course, but A8 is quad and i5 is dual and it would seem AMD has lived up to some of its openCL promises....

erm, I think most mobile i5s are dual core, both sandy and ivy. I could be wrong though. Keep in mind though HD4000 may also support software which uses openCL acceleration in the future.
