As far as I can tell, there's really no difference in functionality between the two. bulk packaging = refurb = no manufacturer warranty. Still a decent deal, though.

I'm wondering, too: new? Where is it? This is a great price, even if it's the previous generation (Jawbone III wouldn't be worth it, but the Icon definitely is).
