Those should be good for a raid from what I've seen and the price looks good. I would expect HD prices to slide more by the end of the year with pressure from the SSD price wars, but I sorta doubt...

I think equivalent is WD Caviar Blue . I haven't gone Seagate for 4 years, since some bad experiences, but I hear they aren't too bad now. Caviar Blue has 2 year warranty, this Seagate Baracuda has...

The reduction on HD warranties by all HD makers is such a joke. 1 year for an internal HD? Glad they have such faith in their products.
