I don't think you could get more than $600 to $650 on Ebay after fees by selling the lens. urlhasbeenblocked about 11%. You could sell it elsewhere (FM or craigslist), but the price will be lower...

I know all about this AF system. Multiple cross point focus is helpful on fast moving objects, like when shooting sports or an air show. Will make no difference in everyday photography.
