Agreed, I wonder if it's because they are so ashamed of FFXIV that they feel the need to make so many direct sequels to FFXIII...

Well they wasted nearly a decade making 13, so they hope to get their investment back. I figure it should break even around the release of FF13-47.

They have re-made so many FF games now it's ridiculous, from game boy advanced to psp to iphone... it's a quick way for SE to make money. It's just a shame the FF franchise will never be what it was...
