I don't like them for lifting cars as much because they cannot move with the car. With a floor jack as the car angle gets steeper the jack can slide into compensate for it.

A Jack only lifts one side, so you are not lifting entire vehicle weight.

1) park & engage hand brake

Any 3 ton jack stands will work. If you are slender enough, you shouldn't need to lift the Sequoia to change the oil, it's a pretty tall car. The Corolla will need to be lifted, I do not like these...
