Nordstroms (or any big department store) is a good place to start. Shoes vary WIDELY in cost & quality, and sadly, high cost does not always correlate with high quality. I'd say a good price range...

From what I have heard Cole Haan and Florsheim are very comfy. Am currently using dockers and clarks and have found them to be a good mix of comfort and price. Good luck :-)
