PCI Database is a great way to find the manufacturer of an unknown device. Just enter the Vendor ID and Device ID from the Hardware Ids to find out more info.

yeah you definitely needed the motherboard drivers from the motherboard manufacturer, since the NIC is onboard. also chipset drivers ar every important, make sure you get those too if you havent...

Try to download and install PC Wizard 2012 from CPUID. It will at least give you the NIC chipset and you can download the appropriate driver from that.
