I do not think you can use a universal remote to control the Xbox's IE10 anyway. You need the joysticks to move around the screen. The universal remotes emulate the D-Pad. I have not tried using...

I have the keyboard attachment that Curtieson mentioned but it isn't the ideal size for someone with fat fingers like me unfortunately.
