Since you live in Atlanta, you may be able to get a couple Delta flights. I live in NYC, and JFK actually is another hub of Atlanta, too, but can't really get any flights at low level award at all....

You should see $0.40 credit as well. if you do not, should send secure message and ask about it. or wait till end of the statement.

I did not because Chase is having 5% cashback on Airlines this quarter. So, thought instead of getting 2% on Gold Delta Amex, I would take the 5% and purchase a snack on board to get $100 statement...

Even if the charge shows in your statement later I assume that the charge date is what counts, so you should probably be ok. Also - not sure if this was covered already, but I assume 90 days...

Yeah +1 for staying away from Delta Skymiles. Unless you're just going to get the card, cancel the card right away and use the miles I'd not waste your time. Domestic flights costs 2-5 times as much...
