How easy is it to get other lens for this camera? Do they also appear on slickdeals like the canon and nikon lenses? This will be a major factor in my decision to buy this interchangeable lens...

I agree. Don't know why the panasonic doesn't have IS in body, but it makes picking up lenses from other manufacturers even more annoying.

I got this deal last time from amazon with the pancake lens for $299! Great Price! The 14-42 mm lens is good too. Since I already have the Olympus Pl-1 with the 14-42 already, I wanted the pancake...

THIS is the really hot tomato here. The camera kit with the kit lens has been in the range of the price it's at today before. But this lens has NEVER been this cheap. This is the cheapest this...

Not a bad price if you want one new, but I managed to get a like new Warehouse Deals model w/ 14mm pancake for $275 not too long ago. The 14-42 kit is typically even cheaper used/refurb.

jumped on this, thanks for the notification! Been using the GF3 for past 6 months. It is my first upgrade over P&S (Canon SD800) and have loved it. Still learning to use all the functions, but...

The M9 would be great, Only if it didn't cost a arm and a leg to get one :). Well the new M-E is cheaper, but still pricey, even compared to the Rx1. I guess Lecia finally realized that they are...

Yeah, buy second hand off ebay so it voids the warranty. I wish people would stop saying stuff is cheaper on Ebay. Ebay is so "Flea Market" that it's not worth it. If I was looking for a crappy used...

I prefer the EPM-1 over the GF3 - pretty similar performance but I like the built in IS for use with pancake lenses.

I own this camera. I know usage scenarios are different for everyone, but I think the prime 14mm or 20mm lens would be a better choice for a lot of photographers. You don't get much zoom from the...

Seems the pancake lenses are needed for this indoors and for real pocketability - but those seem to be $200-400 on their own. Kills it a bit :)

Budget? Try to stay away from the 14-42mm lens. It came with my GX1 and it wasn't very sharp. I know what the reviews say and I know what others will say. It's a seesaw argument that goes back and...

RX100 is your only choice. The s100's only advantages are slightly smaller size, and significantly cheaper.

We are talking about the fact that the Panasonic GF3 is NOT a pocket camera and a RX100 is a point and shoot pocket camera. It will NEVER take nearly the same quality pictures as the Panasonic GF3...

GF3X includes the 14-42PZ lens - much much smaller than the 14-42mm in this deal (I've had both). The cameras are the same. But $299 with the 14-42PZ would be a very good deal. No problem...
