If you're sitting on a 32-bit OS then yes, 32gb or anything over 4 is not going to net you anything. But if you have a 64-bit than there isn't a reason not to have more, especially if it's Win7...

Never say never when it comes to RAM. Why even stop with 32GB and 64GB why not climb that ladder to: 128GB, 256GB or all the way up to TB of RAM the skies the limit.
