This may prove useful if you're on the fence: dkamera.de compared the XZ-1 to the Olympus PEN E-PL2.
The results were surprising, with the XZ-1 often producing superior results to the m4/3 E-PL2.

This camera is excellent except for two things:
1. The auto white balance is absolutely terrible. Use manual white balance (and don't trust the menu ie. "fluorescent" setting doesn't always work...
