It was available a minute ago at all three nearby locations by my house. Then suddenly it is OOS within 300 miles. Something is not right. Update: My hunch was right. It became available again.

This is no great deal or saw. If you want a portable saw, take a look at the small dewalt and bosch. Both are small but very good saws and the regular price is lower than this.

You have a great saw there. Something to consider, even folded up the Craftsman is a pretty big item. It's very easy to move around, but still big. The extras are very, very nice, but the larger rip...

That's a typo on Sears' part. The correct model is 21829. The 21828 is a completely different saw and appears to be a clone of the Ridgid R4516. While they look similiar, it is more a jobsite-type...

No chance of this box fitting in a civic. It's huge, like 3/5 a refrigerator box

Get a track saw, makita or festool TS55. Safest and MUCH cleaner cuts.

Another satisfied owner of this saw. It can be a little bit of pain to get set up properly, but once it is, it is awesome. As noted above, there is a great online community supporting this saw.

Bought this a few years ago on a SD post for 306.47 after tax. It has worked great for multiple projects, including a full size farmhouse bed frame. Had a tough time with 4x4s, but otherwise has...

I have this saw and love it although the built-in router table will not work with my Hitachi router. I bought mine in May of 2010 for $285. The folding platform is awesome.

Mine is not flushed to the other table surfaces. It is at least 3~4 mm higher. I will check to see if I'm doing something wrong.

I wouldn't say you are being picky. If the miter table isn't flush with the main table you are not going to get accurate miter cuts. And if the offset varies from front to back or the table is...

The miter table and accessory table should both sit flush and level with the main table. You should be able to use all three to make one large surface.

Both the DW745 and GTS1031 are fine saws. I seriously considered both but always found myself going back to the 21829 or BT. The Dewalt is limited on rip capacity and cannot take a dado blade and...

Yes, I would recommend a dewalt 12" dual-bevel miter saw for the deck job. It will be much faster and easier to get straight cuts on the large boards. I have used the crap out of my Dewalt 12"...
