If you don't care about 5.1 audio, this is the best version that exists. The video quality is head and shoulders over what is available on DVD.

Unfortunately, even if it ever comes to the states, it's likely just been upscaled since it's listed at 1080i. Wish they would do a proper HD remastering, but I'm sure it's not worth the cost :(
