I have this vacuum and it's decent for small things around the house. If you are planning on vacuuming your entire house, I wouldn't get this one. I would just opt for a standard upright vacuum.

well the reason some people say they have to empty it after one room is that dyson was able to pick up more dust than the other vacuums they used before.
