if it's well known merchants or a from a popular thread here, then we usually let it stay in hd for some time, eventually moving it to deal talk with a redirect.
we, or at least i, review threads...

Why do you think there are several threads on SD for "free" products (such as ipod earphones, hdmi cables, etc...). They just want to collect your address + credit card info and send you a 20 cent...

Not so sure about Meritline, since we haven't had any concrete evidence.
Regarding eBay: if we allow tigerdirect on slickdeals, shouldn't we allow tigerdirect's ebay store? That's a pretty good...

Regarding Meritline...maybe not concrete, but an overwhelming amount of affected SD members who all experience the same trend/fraud......

meritline needs to be banned...WAY too many "coincidences" of CC fraud shortly after purchases from that place. I know people's reply is "just use Paypal"...but that's not the point.
