Just used mine for a week on a trip. Everything was great! Single plug, it's fine. What's a low voltage laptop? USB is 5V, and I'm sure the router is drawing less than 500mA at 5V.

100Mbps according to the docs at the Zyxel web site, although they also state it's 802.11N allowing "up to" 150Mbps transfer rates, hah. Oh well, that's getting a bit picky I guess.
