PC-Q25 is what I'd get, but at $60 this is worth considering. I still think it's too large for what you're getting. You can do the same in a PC-Q08. Not to sound like a Lian Li nut, but I wish...

Actually regular sized PSU's (160mm) are going to a really tight fit in the prodigy (only 1 cm room for wires, so modular 16 cm PSU's will have to stick out of the case a bit. If you need a cheap...

Can we buy any motherboard and put it in this case like every other case?

mark the zotac boards off your list (if you were considering them). hardware raid = terrible and you'll be replacing the wireless module for something better in the long run.

You do realize an operational computer is a lot more than just a motherboard.

 not sure what this has to do with my question. I just can't figure out why you'd pay lots of money for mITX and them put it in a box the same size as a (conceivably) less pricey...

Simply because the only expansion card worth considering is a single video card. For many applications, not even that is required. Everything else falls into one niche or the other. So why bother...

I prefer the Lian-Li ITX cases in terms of styling. The PC-A08 holds 6x 3.5in drives, at least 1 2.5 in drive, and a 5.25in drive while leaving room for a full sized PSU. Alternatively, you can fit a...

Yes, and I still think it defeats the purpose of an ITX board. Dimensions: 9.84" x 15.91" x 14.13"

Yeah, that is a higher end motherboard as it's Z77 vs H77, but it only has four SATA ports + two eSATA. The H77 has six SATA ports, two of which are SATA 6Gbps. For just a file server, the ASUS H77...

great deal on this (compared to MSRP) but I don't really see the point of this product's existence. What's the point of using a large case with a miniITX board?
