damn, not only is this a $75 managed switch with a lifetime warranty, it also has Power over Ethernet: Too bad I don't heed to replace my 8-port ProCurve 1400.

To clarify, this switch has PoE for powering itself. If you look, the first port is marked as such. I do not believe it can output power to other PoE-compliant devices, even on the first port. So...
