I was going based on your statement of laptops in general is meant to be mobile, therefore negating that some laptops are deemed desktop replacement. I would never assume anyone to use a UB as a DR....

from what i've heard, sandy is pretty close to ivy, and if you can get it for less, it's worth it. at least this has the 256gb ssd to back up the price..
Not a bad deal..but I think the ux32vd model is the best one to spend your money on simply for ability to upgrade ram & HD + dedicated grahics +1080 ips. Bought the ux32vd a few days ago, upgraded...
