Thats a good freakin question but I heard there is a second HD bay that all it needs is a SATA cable... I hope this is the case as I want the SSD to be primary and the slow 5400 to be data...

unfortunately the 2nd HD bay its completely empty (acer left out the connectors). which is why the price is so low for the outstanding specs and resolution. also notable its one of the few laptops...

yes you can swap it out, you'll just need a driver caddy that acts as an sata adapter but fits like an optical drive. ...
