its obviously a smaller size but yes i can see the one hand operation being nice. my dogs love this tool and i seriously enjoy brushing them with it. we call it furminator bonding. i find it weird...

For what it is worth, this appears to be the old design. Not sure if that matters to anyone. I've got the more recent one in "Large, Long Hair" and I can't recommend it enough.

Its not a price mistake. I ordered 2 last week for 3.00 each from entirely pets and they did ship (it took 4 days to ship though). I will have them on Tuesday. I believe that this is the old style....

I just used it on my dog and I can say that the fur ejector work great. It allows me to hold his collar with one hand a eject the fur without letting go.
