DC9099s run about $70 for two, DW9116s run about $25, so you are basically getting the drill for $5. Or sell the drill on Craigslist for $45 and get two batteries & a charger for $55. Good deal.

you're right. I didn't catch that. I just looked for the ones that replaced my NiCd. Thanks for pointing that out. I still think it's a decent price, and the reviews on amazon have been very good.

This drill is their less powerful drill and uses the lower line (non-XRP) batteries. Not a hammer drill either. Pretty standard sale price. There will be better deals next month....XRP drill set...
