i had the same issue. I changed to a different SSID and it fixed it! Turns out that interference from other routers will not only kill the wireless, but also the wired signal. Weird.

if youve had it for months then you wont be able to return it. have you tried a different wireless adapter? have you tried using it only wired?

1 solid vote here for send back. If it doesn't work well on stock firmware, I doubt flashing it would help. You can always flash the next one that IS working.

Wireless channels 1,6,11 are the most common. You could try one of the other wireless channels but the results will be a mixed bag. Can't hurt to try and at worst go back to Auto for the wireless...
