I tried it with an Asus 502u running Tomato. That router has something wrong with it's USB port timing and made for very poor transfer speeds. I would still entertain the idea, though.

Pretty much all Belkin routers are horrible. You will start to see slow speeds due to the routers throughput. Waste of money.
