I can never remember... when it's "virgin" it tastes like coconut, right? edit: or is it that "expeller-pressed" means that it doesn't? I have plenty of the "doesn't taste like coconut" oil......

The "flavorless" (expeller-pressed) coconut oil, I eat with beef and chicken. The beef I get (from the chow hall) tends to be pretty dry. So I'll heat it up in a dish with some coconut oil on it...

Anyone compared this to Nutiva, and the king of the bargain oils (Costco). After S&S, Nutiva 54oz x2 is at the same per-oz price as this Meldeen's (48 cents). Costco otoh is way cheaper, label says...
