i haven't see any top loader washer goes on sale in the past BF, most sale are for side loader. some ppl perfer top loader instead of side loader, since side loader have the wet mildew smell...

I also got the top loading samsung and the cycle time is about an hour, which I am not used to, but I've had no problems with not cleaning well enough. It is very quiet and spins out the clothes...
