I heard Sony laptops have a high rate of failures. I hear great things about Lenovo laptops. I would stay away from HP & Dell laptops that are in stores...they're just not the same quality...

It'll be a day to day use for business, mainly use for office work and part time gaming when time permits. I like larger screens so a 15" or more would be fine.

I agree in principal with the brands and models. The reason I would recommend the Dell Outlet is that it's the only way out of the three options where he can expect to get a well-specced business...
