I am a newbie to gun ownership. Thinking about buying a 22 lr rifle on a tight budget.
A couple of models shows up in local Big 5.
Savage 64fxp.. with a scope on sale $170

That sounds good.
Otherwise, new Marlin 795.
New Marlin Model 60 if you want wood and tube-fed.
Those are both more accurate than a 10/22 anyway.
Prices look to have jumped up a bit...
