My recommendation--get the Asus RT-N16 and flash with Tomato. I love the easier UI of Tomato and QoS is way better (or at least it was 1-2 years when I made the switch). You can load the VPN version...

agree with above post RT-N16 is sufficient for home use, unless all your wireless devices are N standard.
