even if you leave this ram at 1600mhz you can get the timings down below 9s with the voltage at 1.35. I run mine at 2133 11-10-11-11, which helps a lot with a memory hog like sleeping dogs, running...

It can do that easily. Either 1.5V or relaxing on latency. But someone found that the sweet spot is 1866 9-9-9-28 1.35V. It can go as high as 2400 with 1.5V. The only use for this is AMD...

I thought about that, though I'm not trying to push the ram to the max. I just need it to get to 1600 MHz CL9 at least, with 1866 MHz CL10 being good enough. I hope I can do that.
