Yeah battery sucks. But If you go to Wifi settings/config/Leave wifi on when sleep to "Only when plugged in", you can go a couple days before a recharge.

I hate Win 8. But the Surface is a great piece of kit - except that it runs nearly no programs since it's ARM. Surface Pro win own the market, but it's still a ways off.
