I went for the Dell U2412m (24" 1920x1200, 3 year perfect pixel warranty) for $280. Realized my desk isn't big enough for one of these monsters. Also, it's nice to know I am covered for 3 years here.

Korean ones go for $290 on ebay. Using mine now. So much better than all my friends with American 27" but only 1920x1080. Honestly 1080p looks stretched on 27"

No HDMI. Deal breaker. It's Monoprice, so the monitor will require you to buy at least 4 different adapters, along with a 6 foot cord (the included 8 inch cord will not be long enough, obviously)....

The Dell was much better in terms of color and focus. It could have been just poor calibration on the Korean (the Dell is factory-calibrated) though, or it could have been that the Korean is glossy...
