I went for the Dell U2412m (24" 1920x1200, 3 year perfect pixel warranty) for $280. Realized my desk isn't big enough for one of these monsters. Also, it's nice to know I am covered for 3 years here.

I agree with you, I would personally just use DVI, but the person I was quoting was saying no HDMI was a deal breaker, which made me question what I had thought about the max resolution of HDMI. ...

No HDMI. Deal breaker. It's Monoprice, so the monitor will require you to buy at least 4 different adapters, along with a 6 foot cord (the included 8 inch cord will not be long enough, obviously)....

The Dell was much better in terms of color and focus. It could have been just poor calibration on the Korean (the Dell is factory-calibrated) though, or it could have been that the Korean is glossy...
