This Costco model looks nice, but a bit large. I have used these and found being smaller I was able to use in various space sizes. Fit great in area above the garage door, also in my basement...

This just confirms the killer deal I got a few months back at Lowes on the 4x8 Kobalt ones that they had a clearance for $49.98 each. I just put them up and love them! Definitely recommend these...

I just checked Lowes and my local store has the Kobalt one for $129, so that is still cheaper than this (even though it is more than the $50 you paid). The only complaints I have seen on the Kobalt...

I built my own with a 4x8 sheet of 1/2"plywood, 2x4's and L brackets. You can cut the sheet to any length you want. I may have had 30 bucks in each one and it takes no more than 30 minutes. here's...

I've been researching racks for six months and was thinking about buying the equivalent of this from Amazon for $250. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but they are either flimsy (with cheap lag...

Looking to build some 4'X6' overhead shelving for my garage ceiling. Using Superstrut, how do you fasten the threaded rod to the joist? Drilling a hole all the way through the joist would of course...

is this good for the ceiling. I was talking with my builder in the past and he was not recommending this since the load from the rack was not designed in to the ceiling stud structure. I also see...

If your roof structure in your garage cannot support 600-700 pounds then you have a lot worse problems. I certainly hope you don't live in an area where you get snow.

Haha, nope, I think you are gonna be in the minority here. It must be ridiculously expensive to have a concrete ceiling since gravity kinda works against you so you would need some pretty good forms...
