Seems to be better than all the Black Friday deals as all of them in this price point are i3's and even if they are 3rd gen, this processor has a MUCH better benchmark and is rated higher.

Exactly, can't complain for what we paid. Great laptop for everyday use and abuse. If I breaks in 3 years like my two previous Inspirons, I'll just buy a new one which is going to be nicer, better...
