I got a bunch of prepaid rebate cards for newegg purchases, used their entire balances and am now wondering if I have to cancel the cards to avoid fees? I don't want to get a bunch of $3.00 bills for...

Thanks so much Daniel, this is what haunted me since I´ve ordered FAR software from Newegg (for the first time).

No you don't. The activation fees come in when there is a balance on the card. If you balance is $0, then the account is "closed" and they will not charge any fees. So throwing them away is fine.
