I got this TV yesterday. There doesn't seem to be much support available online about this, including a detailed manual. Anyway, I found that old LG models could "play movies" directly from a USB....

I agree...Im thinking the $600 Plasma may be a better deal for the picture quality. But, for a large 'family' TV - this may be the deal to get. Cheaper than BF deals...

I have a 42" led 3d SMARTTV from LG and I can tell you that if you CANT turn off Trumotion, then you will be in for some weird TV watching. This is definitely a dealbreaker. True motion can be cool...
