Look at your original charger. It will say what the power output is in volts and amps. The amps are on the right side. It'll say .xA or 1.xA or 2.xA for how many amps it outputs.

Not very good... my 2700mAH one does about 50% charge on my LG Optimus V/S, which doesn't really have a very big battery. It's worth it to have something as an emergency backup though.
