"Not that bad actually."? IMHO it's a re-enactment of the Great Train Robbery! Look at the 14" HP with I 5 processor for $400 listed below on the same page then explain to me what the other $400...

why do you say the prices are lower with a discover card? is it a discount price or is that just factoring in cashback

I bought xps13 about 6 months back when dell direct had a deal for 670 bucks. .. I would not advise anyone except my worst enemy to buy it.. the trackpad does not work and gets struck and you have to...

It's pretty obviously not a gaming laptop, so...duh. I bet a bread knife is trash if you're trying to cut down a tree. That's what chainsaws are for.

Be that as it may, we've already noted the viewing angle issue and contrast ratio issue on TN panels. But, to be clear, it's all relative. These are still much better displays than those packed into...

After ruling out the Zenbook due to its shallow keyboard, the M4 Envy was my next pick. My decision came down to the XPS 13/14 Ultrabook or the HP Envy. The HP has a really good keyboard- very...

Are you talking about the vanilla Dell XPS 14? Or the Dell XPS 14 Ultrabook? I blame Dell for this confusing nomenclature; it definitely doesn't help. As someone who actually *owns* the Dell XPS...

Are you serious?? In what way does a Lenovo U510 beat the XPS 15?? Are you saying the mediocre 1366x768 display is better than the Dell's 1080p display?? Or perhaps you're suggesting that the...

What say you all of the 15? 1080p + HDD with SSD + 630M dedicated GPU sounds pretty good to me?

Yep, and I feel that if you look at them less as "Ultrabooks" and more as MacBook Pro competitors, they stack up even better- the weight is completely acceptable, as the MacBook Pro 13 weighs 4.6lbs,...
