Big difference. Crop sensor vs Full frame. Its not that heavy. My previous camera was a 40D, ever since I got the 60d it feels like a plastic camera.

awesome deal...must resist or i'll be broke by Christmas ha
Yeah sounds like kit lens for this person. If they don't know what lens they want or if this is their first DSLR, it's probably best you just start there. The EF-S 18-55mm is only $100 brand new. The...

It's not for me. Someone is asking me to buy this camera (overseas). Looks like he is looking for a kit lens. But since this deal is for the body only, I need to find a good lens. Budget < 1K. Thanks.

I too have 45 days. I like the fast burst rate and bigger buffer on the Canon 60D. I think the movie on the 60D is the same as the 7D according to one review.

+1, 60D is a better camera overall, better viewfinder and bigger buffer etc.

Actually, the T4i has faster access to settings/controls and unique ways to focus through its touchscreen. I'm not a fan of touchscreen, but even I have to say that it's pretty useful. ...

it's like choosing a 2010 BMW 3 series over a 2012 Camry it's a different class of cameras.

I'm in the same boat, upgrading from an XTi. Stuck between 60D and T4i, but leaning towards the 60D due mostly to ergonomics and the top LCD. Rebate is still good until the end of the year and...

Actually the fact is a crop sensor is MORE then half the size of a FF. 1.6 is the crop. so it's 60% of a full frame. And L lenses look AWESOME on crop. I have a 16-35 on a 7d. Sweet. Hell even...

Better high iso because of DIGIC 5 IMAGE PROCESSOR not because of sensor, which t4i and the 60d share. LOL so dumb this guy, everyone in this thread thinks he's an idiot.
Post #54880578 added 11-17-2012 9:59 AM by Promit in Archived Deals
Come on guys, it's simple. The T4i is newer processing and will turn out better JPEGs. This is probably important for the type of person who would buy a T4i. Same with video AF. The 60D just happens...

not even close. I dont know how you can compare the 60D that way. It's clearly a different class of camera. t4i = 2012 Camry 60D = 2010 BMW 3 series 7D = 2010 BMW 5 series 5D mark 2 = 1997...

Please, that guy just bought a 60D recently and is sour that the T4i, which technically is supposed to be a class lower than the 60D, has already surpassed it in many features. That's the same reason...

BBAF, two control dials, better ergonomics.... hell yes, the 60D trumps the t4i easily. Go ahead and believe that your 2012 camry is better equipped for a race compared to a 2010 BMW 3 series. ...
