The CREE T6's max output lumens is 975 lumens at 3000mA, so in such case, the rated value 1000 lumens make sense. Of course, you can not expect just use a low voltage to expect a high output...

junk! there is no standard way of measuring lumens. 1000 lumens in one brand could be equivalent to 100 in another. this is a POS 10 dollar flashlight.
