As best I can tell.. the Extreme4 has 2 more usb3, a esata port, and a 8+4 phase power. If that's important to you, than you should consider it. It's about the same price, but doesn't come with...

This is really only true if you're going to be OCing your RAM... it's 8 phases on the CPU either way... and 3 vs 4 for the RAM. Personally I've never seen the of OCing your RAM other than trying...
