Our real estate office just purchased a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a Tamron SP AF 10-24mm for ultra wide angle shots. It is quite an improvement over what we've used in the past. How does this...

The Lumix GH2 (among other Lumix G-series cameras) have a thriving community of 'hackers'. A tool (P-Tool) is available that allows you to modify and load tweaked firmware onto the camera, powering...

The most comparable lens would the Panasonic 7-14mm f/4, which unfortunately costs double (~$900) what the Tamron does. The image quality as far as the camera bodies go is pretty much the same. The...

Hah, was just about to add another repost to the pile before I searched a little bit more thoroughly. This is definitely FP material, $499 is the cheapest I've ever seen the GH2 especially with the...

$500 for the Panasonic GH2 with kit lens, brand new. Not bad at all for what you get. The video mode seems to be pretty popular on these. "This item qualifies for 2% back in Rewards, and Free...

Thanks for the feedback. What if I don't intend on buying any other lens? Would this still be a better choice out of other options?

I gotta disagree - video output of the NEX-5N is easily comparable to the two year old GH2. Shutter speed and aperture and controllable and it's got 1080P24,30,and 60, and because of the sensor size...

For Compact Move-Ups: The 14-42mm is a basic, inexpensive lens (i.e. they sell for less than $100 easily). To me, it's a starter lens, but it really negates the small size of the GF3....

Why buy a GH2 when you could buy a NEX-5N?
Post #54968206 added 11-19-2012 6:13 PM by zapatista in Archived Deals
Much better physical controls too and a real system of great lenses. The Nex-5N will overall have better IQ though...without a doubt.

if you are in the market for a pocketable, entry level enthusiast camera (ie looking at the s100, rx100, etc), do this: - get the gf3 kit for $280 - sell the 18-55 lens for $100-125 - buy 14mm...

I was considering selling my GF3 now that I bought the GH2, but I think I'll keep it, as you said, and keep the 14mm or the 20mm on it. Or perhaps, I'll use it with the 14-45mm on it and keep my...
