Agreed. The E-300 keeps popping up in "laptop" deals but it's a netbook processor. I had one, ok for basic browsing and docs. Nothing more.

Just be on Amazon's lightning page when the deal starts, there's a laptop every few hours, next one is a Sony, but price will not be know until deal starts, oh and deal last about 3 seconds before...

Don't bet on that -- Flash Video is notoriously power hungry in terms of CPU cycles and so are other codec. As long as everything you are playing can be accelerated by the GPU, you should be ok --...

The AMD E-300 processor gets benchmark results about the same as my Pentium 4 from 2005! My second gen i5 processor gets a score about 7 or 8 times faster.
