I wasn't sure if i wanted to try this, but had a $5 credit for opening a new account, so I only paid $7.00. It seemed to work just as OP said. The check should come in 4-6 weeks. :)

The $5 off came from someone sending me a referal and I opened the account through that. If you have someone send you a referal, it should work for you.

Site is down? I remember doing a similar deal with another deals site a while back (groupon or amazon local). They refunded everyone and didn't send out any checks.
