I'd recommend spending more for something of quality. Nothing more frustrating to learn on than a cheap guitar. Having said that, if you're only wanting to spend $60, this is not a bad deal.

It is a decent guitar... I bought it for my wife.last year and her instructor said it would be great to learn and play at home. He didn't recommend learning on an expensive one. Sounds right to me.
